The Emperor Penguin is the largest of all the pneguin species and is found throught Antarctica and the Australian Antarctic Territory.

Emperor Penuins are now regarded as near threatened due to declining availablility of their food, brough about by climate chagne and industrial fishin.  Studies by Organisations such as the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution suggest that the Emperor Penguins could be at the brink of extinction by the end of this century.
