Each year on 25th April, ANZAC Day commemorations are held across Australia. These services and vigils are hold to pay respects to Australians who have lost their lives or served in all military and peacekeeping operations in which Australia has been involved. This Postal Numismatic cover pays tribute to the more than 60,000 Australians who served in the Vietnam War between 1962 and 1973, as well as after the fall of Saigon in between 1962 and 1973, as well as after the fall of Saigon in 1975. 523 Australians were killed and more than 3,000 were wounded in Australia's longest conflict of the 20th Century.
