Struck from 2oz of pure silver with selective 24-carat gilding, this beautiful commemorative represents a glowing tribute to the 125 year-old Perth Mint

Reflecting the Mint’s best-known contemporary coin series, the release portrays a kangaroo, kookaburra, and koala artistically arranged within a representation of golden wattle, Australia’s national floral emblem. As well as the coin’s edge and rims, each animal is gilded in 24-carat gold. The inscription ‘1899 THE PERTH MINT 2024’ appears in a scroll at the foot of the design. Also included are a ‘P125’ mintmark and the coin’s weight, purity, and year-date.
