2021 Issue 19 $1 Lest We Forget Perth Mint RAAF PNC (Issue 19 limited to 6,500)
Each Year on ANZAC Day we acknowledge the service and sacrifice of Australian Men & Women who have served our nation. On 31st March 2021, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) commemorated a Centenary of such service to Australia. The RAAF traces its history back to the Australian Flying Corps, which was established in September 1912 and served as part of the Australian Imperial Forces during World War 1.
The Stamps on this cover present a traditional, tear-shaped laurel wreath, typically featured in ANZAC Day commemorations, as well as a 1921-era RAAF SE5A Bi-Plane.
